What is leadership? "Leadership is a process that aims to encourage individuals to reach a common goal that will make for a better quality of life."
Why is leadership training important? "Knowledge empowers people...leadership training challenges and encourages individuals to look into themselves - to capitalize on their passions, ideas, and values as a powerful pathway for empowerment and self-development."
How will you utilize your learning from the LTCP? "First, studying leadership theories is a valuable asset that will complement nicely with my own academic area of interest— the economics-of-development. I am interested in studying what makes societies flourish—what are the economic, legal, and cultural ideas that makes for a prosperous society? I know that studying leadership theories will be a very useful complement to my on-going pursuit of maximizing welfare for everyone. Second, I am very excited about learning and being part of LiDER’s projects. With the skills acquired after this training, I expect to take advantage of and employ them for future LiDER programs and projects."
